SANTIAGO DE CUBA, February 20 (Haydeé Rodríguez, APLO) - "You are going to end up in jail before your husband comes out," threatened political police lieutenant Juan Carlos Rodríguez Tabares speaking to Adis Danel Cuevas.

The threat was caused by Mrs. Cuevas' frequent demands for conditional liberty to which she feels her husband is entitled. He is Orestes Rodríguez Horruitiner, serving a 4 year sentence in Boniato prison for the crime of "enemy propaganda." He has already served more than half his sentence at 2 years and 7 months, for which his wife says he is elegible for parole.

Lt. Rodríguez visited Mrs. Cuevas at her residence to issue the threats. He has been constantly hounding her, accusing her of consorting with counter-revolutionary elements.
