HAVANA, February 21 (Amarilis Cortina Rey, Cuba-Verdad) - On the afternoon of February 14, a bus passenger in Havana yelled: "Hey, man, don't open the door; somebody stole my gun!"

The driver of the bus summoned police, who made all passengers leave the bus, searching them one by one. The procedure lasted a considerable time, but the gun was not found.

The victim, a man of about 50, in civilian clothes and carrying a briefcase, left, minus his gun, presumably to inform the appropriate authorities of his loss.
