HAVANA, October 14 (José Antonio Fornaris, Cuba-Verdad /
www.cubanet.org) - A 22-year-old man was shot as he was talking to his wife and
son in front of his home in the Arroyo Naranjo municipality of Havana October
11, neighbors said. The incident could be drug related.
"Another youth, whom they call Tamarí, argued with him about
eight grams of the drug the call "crack," shot him twice in the head
and fled," said Dolores Roque, an area resident.
The victim's name is Gerardo, but no other identification was forthcoming.
"Police took the body in a truck to the Institute of Legal Medicine at
8:30 a.m.," said Roque.
