Cockroaches thrive in Morón homes

MORÓN, January 31 (Tico Morales, APLA / www.cubanet.org) - These days, cockroaches seem to be thriving in Morón, Ciego de Ávila province, in the absence of effective controls.

Residents report the North district of the city, where about a third of its inhabitants live, is the most affected by the plague.

Sanitation brigades claim they are powerless to combat the infestations because they have no effective control agents, citing especially "cyperatol," as the preferred control agent is known here.
