link to Isle of Youth in Cuba interrupted
NUEVA GERONA, Cuba, November 14 (www.cubanet.org)
- Maritime transportation between the Isle
of Youth and the mainland has been interrupted
because the three catamarans which carry
passengers are out of service.
A government official said that two additional
daily flights have been added to compensate
for the lack of maritime service.
The only way to get to the island and vice
versa is by sea or air.
Transportation was interrupted for similar
reasons in April.
